The Festival of Bribir makaruni and performances by the groups Insula and Tedia Spalata will be part of the programme on the first day of Ruzica Vinodola, on Friday 16 August in Bribir. That is also when the candidates for best grape-picker (beracica) will be presented, at an event that revives a custom from the era of the Frankopans marking the close of the harvest. The competitive programme begins on Thursday 21 August in the vineyards of the Pavlomir wine house, where the young women will show how much they know about vineyard work. Bosutski becari and Trio Nebuloza will play, and visitors can expect a rich open-air gastronomic offering. 
On Friday 22 August the event moves to the Old Town of Novi Vinodolski. There the candidates will measure their strengths in household tasks, with musical accompaniment by Trio Nebuloza. At the same time, the group Insula will entertain the public on the Korzo hrvatskih branitelja. The grand finale comes on Saturday 23 August, again in the Old Town. Accompanied by Trio Nebuloza, the candidates will compete in pouring and presenting wine, and the evening will culminate in the ceremonial bestowing of the title of Ruzica Vinodola 2025. The winner will be proclaimed around 11 p.m. on the Korzo hrvatskih branitelja, together with the first and second runners-up and the most charming Ruzica, chosen by the competitors themselves and the members of the judging panel. Rich prizes await the winners, and Ruzica Vinodola 2025 will also win an Adriatic cruise for two. 
On Friday and Saturday, 22 and 23 August, there will also be a Wine Festival on Frankopanski trg (Frankopan Square). Alongside the winemakers of the Kvarner region, those from the rest of Croatia and from Serbia will present themselves. On the Trg Vinodolskog zakona (Square of the Vinodol Codex), visitors can also look forward to a presentation of old crafts and a fair of local products. Visitors will be able to buy floral wreaths, inspired by those the Ruzice once wore, and in that way become part of this special story.
