The BLAŽ Enology project was launched to promote Herzegovinian wines and advance the region’s wine scene. Over the past ten years it has become a recognizable meeting point for wine professionals, vintners and consumers, and a powerful symbol of Herzegovina’s wine identity. Some 35 leading Herzegovinian winemakers will gather in one place. Visitors will have the chance to taste current releases as well as aged bottlings that bear witness to a decade of enological development and collaboration through the BLAŽ platform.
Over the past decade, BLAŽ Enology has been not only a platform for promoting wine but also an important educational hub for advancing wine culture. Numerous wine workshops, expert tastings and sommelier courses have been held, attended by wine lovers, hospitality professionals and members of the wine trade. The workshops covered subjects such as the sensory analysis of wine and proper food-and-wine pairing, while the sommelier courses laid the foundations of wine communication and high-level service. Many participants are today active promoters of wine culture, confirming the lasting impact of BLAŽ’s educational mission.
We invite all wine lovers, enologists, sommeliers and wine enthusiasts to join us at the upcoming eno-gastro spectacle and to celebrate together ten years of excellence in the glass.
