Crveni Veltlinac, Rizling, Portugizac, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris (crni i sivi pinot), and Manzoni are just some of the varieties behind the sparkling wines that will be poured at the Sparkling Wine and Strawberry Festival in Plešivica on Friday and Saturday, 24 and 25 May. There will, of course, also be sparklers built on the traditional blend of old field-mix varieties, with guests welcomed by the wineries Braje, Dobra berba, Gregorić, Griffin Ivančić, Ivančić, Jagunić, Korak, Kurtalj, Režek, Sirovica, Šember and Tomac&Bajda. A sparkling programme will also be offered by Mountain Studio from Plešivica and Hotel Princess in Jastrebarsko, which will pour the wines of Tomac and Coletti.
Throughout the festival, four retro vans with a capacity of up to eight people, along with a minibus, will connect the growers along the sparkling routes. Their timetables are published on the festival website. There you will also find the full offer of wines and food, as well as the entertainment programme at each of the wineries.
