Vinski klub has unveiled the first interactive wine map of Croatia, featuring nearly 800 wineries and more than 60 wine events. The map, available at vinskiklub.hr, covers Croatian wineries from Ilok to Savudrija and from Međimurje to Konavle.
“Although our intention was to list every wine producer in Croatia, it is always possible that someone has slipped through. That is why Vinski klub invites all wineries not yet on the map to get in touch via our official e-mail so we can add them. In one place you can find wineries by name or town, see exactly where they are and which winemakers work in the neighbourhood, while the ‘Near me’ button shows the wineries currently around you — which will come in handy for anyone travelling thirsty through Croatia,” explains Tomo Jakopović.
With a single click, visitors can open navigation that guides them to the winery of their choice, or read more about the wineries they are browsing. The map also carries wine events — more than 60 festivals, wine walks and open-cellar days throughout 2026, linked to the wine calendar.
The entire portal, along with the wine map, has been translated into English. Hundreds of articles are now available to readers who do not speak Croatian — in other words, to the whole world. “We wanted a tourist arriving in Croatia to be able to explore our wine scene in one place, in English — to find the winery next to where they are staying, see which festival is on while they are here on holiday, and read the stories of the people who make these wines,” they say at Vinski klub.
New steps are already planned. “We will translate the map, and the whole portal, into German and Italian as well. Our goal was to create a first-class tourism product and bring Croatian wines closer to wine lovers at home and abroad, who now have a complete overview of our wine offering in one place,” Tomo concludes.
