Fifteen are French among the wines that contributors to the British wine magazine Decanter tasted between 1 October 2024 and 30 September 2025 and awarded the maximum 100 points, half of the total of 30 perfect scores. Twelve, or 40 per cent, come from the USA, two from Italy and one from Australia. Only five are white: two Chardonnays, from Australia and from Oregon in the USA, and three from the Roussanne variety of the Rhône Valley.
