A sparkling breakfast in the Pavlomir vineyard! Shrimp, fish, prosciutto, cheeses, pralines and bubbles from Kvarner, Istria and Zagorje

Buretic Bregi with cured-meat delicacies, Toljanic with prosciutto, the OPG Trivic family farm and the Runolist dairy with cheeses, Riba Drazin with fish specialities, the traditional Bakar baskoti biscuits and Bribir prisnac, pralines and chocolates from Kavana Tos, the Vilma pastry shop’s Rab cake and the sweetest cherries from the OPG Oremovic farm made a fine foundation for the sparkling wines of the Kvarner Wines association members, together with the Karleusa winery from Istria and Vuglec Breg from Zagorje, at the third Sparkling Breakfast held on 7 June in the vineyard of the Pavlomir wine house in Novi Vinodolski. Guests enjoy sparkling wines and local delicacies at the Sparkling Breakfast in the Pavlomir vineyard in Novi Vinodolski.

It was opened by Tena Pericic, director of the Novi Vinodolski Tourist Board, Miroslav Palinkas, owner of the Pavlomir wine house, and the project’s author Marija Vukelic, while a special early highlight came courtesy of Pavlomir’s oenologist Marinko Vladic, who uncorked a three-litre bottle of the Palinkas Geni sparkling wine made from Grasevina (Slavonia’s signature white variety). The guests’ good spirits were lifted by the natural shade, the singular setting of the vineyard and the music of the Sunny Side jazz trio, as well as the Kvarner shrimp discussed by Marija Vukelic. Mladen Komadina, owner of the Pod Orajem tavern in Klenovica, served raw and grilled shrimp with sparkling Zlahtina and Oio Vivo olive oil from Istria. This was followed by En Primeur Kvarner, during which the wineries presented their new still wines. It was a rare chance to experience first-hand the wines only now arriving on the market.

Prvi smo izbor informacija o vinima onima koji tek ulaze u vinski svijet, onima koji ga već smatraju svojim, onima koji u njemu istinski žive i onima koji ga stvaraju.
