The La Belle Grand sparkling wine from Vina Belje has won gold medals at the AWC Vienna and the Challenge International du Vin in Bordeaux, and at the latter competition Graševina Premium 2024 also struck gold. La Belle Grand is produced by second fermentation in tank. It is a Brut and works well as an aperitif or alongside light fruit-based desserts. It is priced at around 10 euros.
Graševina Premium 2024 shows pronounced ripeness and fullness of flavour, along with the recognisable Baranja signature: citrus notes, minerality, freshness and a lively, buoyant palate, and a long aftertaste with a gentle almond-like finish. In 2025 this wine also won a gold medal at the Mundus Vini competition, and a bottle is priced at around nine euros. Congratulations to the Vina Belje team, and especially to director Suzana Zovko and chief oenologist Marijana Škiljo.
