On 27 and 28 May 2025 the City of Sveti Ivan Zelina and its Tourist Board will stage the 57th wine competition of continental Croatia, with the wine exhibition and prize-giving to follow on 13 June 2025. Interested winemakers should deliver their samples on 15, 16, 17 and 19 May 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the City Hall in Sveti Ivan Zelina. Wine samples may also be handed in at the branch offices of the Directorate for Professional Support to Agricultural Development in Varazdin, Cakovec, Ludbreg, Krapina, Durdevac, Krizevci, Koprivnica, Bjelovar, Daruvar, Dakovo, Cazma, Orahovica, Beli Manastir, Ilok, Oriovac, Kaptol, Ozalj and Jastrebarsko from 6 to 9 May 2025, during working hours or by arrangement. Each exhibitor should deliver six bottles of wine per sample in one-litre or 0.75-litre bottles, while predicate and dessert wines may come in bottles of a minimum volume of 0.275 litres.
Bottles fitted with a label enter the competition for the finest visual bottle identity. The entry fee is 15 euros per sample, payable in cash on delivery of the samples or by bank transfer to IBAN HR9023600001842900004, model 68, reference number 7706-0I. The purpose of the payment is the entry fee for the wine exhibition, and the recipient is the City of Sveti Ivan Zelina. Proof of payment should be submitted together with the sample.
