The extended May Day weekend in Novi Vinodolski was marked by gastronomy, good music and a wonderful atmosphere, thanks to the Altroke Food Festival. The festival ran from 30 April to 3 May on Frankopan Square, which in those days became the heart of the town and an unmissable gathering place for the many visitors eager to enjoy a rich street food offering.
The attractive gastro offering was provided by outstanding exhibitors. Grof Lovski presented authentic game-meat specialities, Sosolicious street food delighted with modern interpretations of Istrian dishes, while those with a sweet tooth savoured the creative desserts of Pop’s Sweet Shop, which drew great attention from visitors.
The entertainment programme was opened by Ante Travizi with his stand-up act, and in the days that followed the audience was entertained by the trio L’amour and Antonio Krištofić and his band. Sunday was specially devoted to the youngest through the Kids Day programme.
With a wealth of flavours, music and positive energy, the Altroke Food Festival once again confirmed how an extended May Day weekend in Novi Vinodolski can look – relaxed, delicious and filled with content for all generations.
