The third edition of the wine gathering Austrian Wine Meets Croatia — the only event in Croatia devoted entirely to Austrian wines — once again brings an impressive selection of top Austrian estates to Zagreb. Wines arrive from all three of Austria’s great wine regions: Styria, along the Slovenian border; Burgenland, leaning against Hungary; and Lower Austria in the north, next to Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Here are the growers the Austrian Trade Commission, Advantage Austria, is bringing from those regions. 
From Volcanic Styria (Vulkanland Steiermark) come Krispel and Weinschloss Koarl Thaller, and from Southern Styria come Peter Masser, Hannes Sabath, Gerhard Wohlmut, Weingut Kögl, Domaine Wolf and Skoff Original. From Burgenland — as the Austrians call Gradišće — arrive wineries from four sub-regions. Esterházy is a well-known name from the Leitha Hills (Leithaberg), while wines from the very shores of Lake Neusiedl (Neusiedlersee) are brought by Riepl, Zantho, Allacher Vinum Panonia and Weingut Salzl Seewinkelhof. Central Burgenland (Mittelburgenland) will be represented by Weingut Hans Igler, and Southern Burgenland (Südburgenland) by Groszer Wein.
Kamptal, Kremstal and Weinviertel are sub-regions of Lower Austria (Niederösterreich), and each will be represented by a single estate: Bründlmayer is certainly the most famous, joined by Neustifter and AUThill Wine – Weingut Weinwurm. Non-alcoholic wines will be presented in Zagreb by the Austrian company A Drinks. Attendance at this opportunity to taste excellent Austrian wines is free, but the number of visitors is limited, so registration is required by 24 February 2026 or until capacity is reached.
