Some 400 wines from indigenous and internationally established, locally adopted varieties will be poured by 70 wineries of Hilly Croatia (Bregovita Hrvatska, the cooler upland belt north and west of Zagreb) at the fourth BregFest on Friday, 24 October 2025, at Zagreb’s Lauba, the house for people and art, at Prilaz baruna Filipovića 23a. The festival opens at 2 p.m., with a special emphasis on sparkling wines, since this wine region is best known precisely for its bottle-fermented bubbles. The festival is held under the patronage of the City of Zagreb, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, and the Ministry of Tourism.
