Cmrečnjak, Dvanajščak Kozol, Hažić, Kocijan Preiner and Štampar are the Međimurje wineries awaiting guests for the Open Cellar Days on Friday and Saturday, 23 and 24 May, while Kojter, Kossi, Medenjak and Novak will open on Saturday only. Each will offer suitable bites, and most are preparing an entertainment programme for guests. More detailed information is available on the urbanovo.hr website.
In Istria, meanwhile, 50 cellars and distilleries will be open on Sunday, 25 May, with a single ticket for all of them costing 10 euros, available on the Vinistra website. Vinistra’s director, Ivan Marić, explains that the ticket includes a tasting of three wines at each winery, or of spirits at each distillery, and that it is important to book a slot directly and in advance at the chosen wineries and distilleries.
Participants will also receive a passport in which they can collect a stamp from each winery and distillery as a keepsake. More detailed information is available at vinistra.hr.
