VINOcom 2025! The 18th festival of wine and gastronomy comes to the Esplanade on Thursday and Friday, 27 and 28 November, and Saturday and Sunday

The sweetest for last… my team and I are doing our utmost to make sure it really is sweet enough in the end, so at 11 a.m. on Thursday, 27 November, we will open the eighteenth VINOcom, the last major wine event of the year, says Festival director Ivan Dropuljic. Owing to strong interest from exhibitors, this year’s festival will again be split into two parts: different wineries will exhibit on Thursday and Friday, 27 and 28 November, and on Saturday and Sunday, 29 and 30, at the Hotel Esplanade Zagreb. On all four days the festival runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission on festival days costs 40 euros per day, or 30 euros in advance.Ivan Dropuljic announced the 18th edition of the VINOcom festival at Zagreb's Hotel Esplanade

I am delighted to boast that we also have the wind at our backs thanks to the personal support of the President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanovic! I would also single out the special sweetness surrounding our host all through this year: the Hotel Esplanade is marking 100 years since its founding. I am glad that VINOcom chose the Esplanade as its venue practically from the very start, said Dropuljic, adding that the International Zagreb VINOcom Festival is celebrating 18 years and that, had it not been for Covid, it could have boasted a full two decades of successful organisation and splendid promotion of fine wine and fine food. The festival falls just before the holidays, making it a useful preview for business people and the public of the possibilities in the season of gift-giving. It will feature wine presentations and tastings, food-and-wine pairings, and contemporary eno-gastronomic education sessions for business people, retailers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, public figures, journalists and all other lovers and consumers of wine and food.Visitors to VINOcom 2025 can look forward to wine tastings, workshops, education sessions and meetings with winemakers from Croatia and abroad

I thank all our patrons: the President of Croatia, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, the Croatian Chamber of Economy and the City of Zagreb, as well as all the sponsors and friends of the festival. To everyone who comes, I wish a wonderful time again this year at the Zagreb VINOcom 2025 festival at the Hotel Esplanade, concluded Ivan Dropuljic. More information is available on the Festival’s website, vino.com.hr. There you will also find the schedule of wine workshops, which every participant is sure to enjoy.
