With the presentation of the awards of the professional jury and the public, and the unveiling of the photo catalogue Where the Grapes Ripen and the Wine Whispers, which gathers the finest photographs submitted to the competition, Križevci will host the closing ceremony of the 5th National Competition for Croatian Wine Photography on Saturday, 24 January 2026. There will be the loveliest wine poetry and music, along with the toasts of the Križevački štatuti, the most celebrated Croatian rules of wine fellowship. The ceremony takes place in the great hall of the Croatian Hall in Križevci from 7 p.m. The organisers are the Society for the Preservation of Križevci Heritage Križevački štatuti and the City of Križevci.
The fifth National Competition for Croatian Wine Photography ran from 1 September to 1 December 2025. Professional photographers and amateurs alike submitted images on themes drawn from winemaking, viticulture and cellar work. The jury, composed of the professional photographers Goran Matošević as president, Bernard Čović and Mišo Lišanin, selected 36 photographs by 24 authors. These were published in the photo catalogue and then put before the public for its verdict. On the Facebook page of the Society for the Preservation of Križevci Heritage Križevački štatuti, from Christmas Eve on 24 December 2025 to Epiphany on 6 January 2026, visitors chose the people’s choice award with their votes.
