The wine year traditionally begins in Osijek: WineOS by Graševina Croatica on 16 and 17 January

On more than 2,800 square metres at the Economic Centre of the Osijek-Baranja County, 125 exhibitor stands will greet visitors on 16 and 17 January with hundreds of wine and spirit labels, a selection of delicacies and a carefully curated gastronomic offering. This year, for the 11th time, WineOS also brings masterclass workshops, a cooking show and programming devoted to oenological styles and contemporary approaches to pairing wine and food.WineOS 2026 is held at the Economic Centre of the Osijek-Baranja County with more than 120 exhibitors.

– Although eastern Croatia has a long winemaking tradition, WineOS was created to tell the story of the region and to open, for its local winemakers, a space comparable to the finest regional fairs. Today WineOS is an event with a clear identity and growing international significance – said Vinko Ručević, director of WineOS by Graševina Croatica.Visitors can expect hundreds of wine and spirit labels and a carefully curated gastronomic offering.

The main-stage programme includes live cooking and conversations about contemporary trends in wine-and-food culture, in which chefs and sommeliers will interpret Graševina (the flagship white of Slavonia), Frankovka and blends in a modern gastronomic context. Visitors will have the chance to show off their knowledge of the wine world by taking part in a quiz hosted for WineOS by Dean Kotiga.Masterclass workshops, a cooking show and Dean Kotiga's quiz are part of the rich WineOS programme.

– For building the Graševina brand, precisely this kind of contemporary presentation is key – in a professional, relevant setting, before an audience that understands the variety’s potential and follows the development of the wine scene. WineOS gives Graševina the context it deserves, and gives winemakers a platform to present themselves in the best light – emphasised Tomislav Panenić, director of the Graševina Croatica Association.WineOS connects winemakers, restaurateurs, distributors and wine lovers through a professional and festival programme.

WineOS remains a meeting point of the B2B and B2C segments: a place where winemakers meet distributors, restaurateurs and merchants, as well as a fair that offers the public a first-rate overview of wine trends and an authentic taste of the region. An integral part of the fair’s identity are the WineOS godparents (kumovi), whose presence embodies its informal, living dimension – those spontaneous wine conversations, tastings and encounters that set WineOS apart from conventional trade presentations.
