The sparkling wine Ipša Extra Brut is the bottle that most delighted the members of the WOW (Women on Wine) association in 2025. I am delighted that, for the first time, the title of overall winner and holder of the WOW Grand Prix has gone to a sparkling wine, said Sanja Muzaferija, president of the WOW association, adding that the winner will, as always, be sent on a trip to a wine region. The awards for the winemakers whose wines women love most were presented at the Zagreb wine shop and wine bar Bornstein. The best rosé was the Miloš Stagnum Rosé 2023; among the amber wines the winner was Dobravac Simminor 2021; among the whites, Damjanić’s Clemente 2021; the best red was Tomaz Malvazija Nera 2024; and among the sweet wines the women chose the Iron Witch by Ivica Matošević. 
The What Women Want selection has been run by the members and friends of the WOW association since 2012. Each year the campaign opens with an initial short list and closes with the judging of a professional tasting panel. Last year, at the Wine Bistro Lovor in Opatija, the verdict was handed down by winemaker Jacqueline Marovac together with sommeliers Monika Neral and Aleksandra Aleksandrova Oberstar.
