A complex wine of aristocratic build, highly developed in both aroma and flavour yet measured and understated, so that elegance takes the foreground. The aromatic sensation opens with red stone fruit and berries, gently followed by blackberry and then delicate spice notes, while the finish discreetly reveals the scent of a forest after rain.
The palate follows the nose, further enriched by abundant, ripe, well-integrated tannins alongside a noticeable bite of mineral freshness. Organic production, an understanding of the variety and respect for terroir are the guiding principles behind this wine, made with minimal intervention in the vineyard and the cellar. It will be a fine choice for the coming feast of St. Martin’s Day and a roast goose.
