This year’s slogan, “All Beverages. One Future.”, clearly describes the fair’s new direction. Although BrauBeviale traditionally has strong roots in the brewing industry, today it presents itself as a comprehensive platform for the entire beverage sector.

BrauBeviale 2026, the meeting point of the beverage industry

BrauBeviale is an international trade fair focused on the European market. It has been held at the Nuremberg exhibition centre since 1979, except in the years when the drinktec fair takes place in Munich.

Over three days the fair presents the latest solutions, technologies and ideas along the entire production chain of the beverage industry, while at the same time offering space for professional and personal exchange.

BrauBeviale brings together:

  • solutions along the entire process chain
  • knowledge and new insights for new applications and alternative processes
  • interaction and an exchange of ideas that brings fresh inspiration.

The fair gives professionals the chance to update their knowledge, discover new solutions, share experience and take an active part in shaping the future of the beverage industry.

From brewing to the entire beverage sector

BrauBeviale has traditionally been closely tied to the brewing industry, but its focus today is far broader. The fair covers producers and bottlers of beer, mineral water, soft drinks, juices, wine, sparkling wine and spirits, while suppliers present products, solutions and services along the whole process chain, from raw materials to filling, packaging and marketing at the point of sale.

At the same time BrauBeviale is a platform for small and medium-sized companies and start-ups, as well as for large international groups that value its working atmosphere and the chance of direct contact with industry specialists.

Exhibition areas at BrauBeviale 2026

One of the fair’s greatest strengths is its breadth. BrauBeviale covers the entire chain of beverage production and distribution, and the exhibition space is organised by area.

Hall 12: Raw materials and ingredients. Beverage production begins with quality raw materials and ingredients. BrauBeviale presents hops, malt, syrups, flavourings and sweeteners, along with many other ingredients used in producing and refining different types of drinks.

Halls 7A, 7, 8, 9 and 11: Process technology, cleaning, filling, packaging and logistics. From brewery and distillery equipment to machines and systems for beverage production, this area covers a wide range of technological solutions. Visitors will also find cleaning technologies, filling systems for beer, wine, soft drinks and juices, packaging machines and robotics for moving palletised containers.

Hall 10: Process engineering, IT, automation, energy, water and gas. The sustainable use of resources matters more and more for the future of the beverage industry. This area covers technologies for supplying energy, compressed air and gases, occupational safety and environmental protection. Automation solutions are an important part of it, including tools and software supported by artificial intelligence for the digital management of production processes.

Hall 7A: Packaging, palletising and logistics. Packaging is one of the key parts of the production chain. BrauBeviale covers a wide range of solutions, including PET bottles, kegs, glass bottles, composite packaging, cans, bag-in-box systems and both one-way and returnable bottles. Closure and labelling systems, packaging aids and logistics solutions round off the offer.

Hall 6: Marketing and POS. A dedicated exhibition area is devoted to beverage marketing and the link with the end consumer through retail and hospitality.

“Time for Opportunities”, the BrauBeviale 2026 supporting programme

Alongside the exhibition, BrauBeviale 2026 offers a supporting programme under the overarching theme “Time for Opportunities”. The focus is on turning current challenges into concrete opportunities and lasting competitive advantages. The programme addresses how the industry can actively use the changes brought by new market demands, consumer habits, technology and production processes.

Main Stage, the key themes shaping the industry. The Main Stage in Hall 9 hosts keynote presentations, panel discussions and expert talks. Topics include more efficient use of resources, smart energy management, robotics, artificial intelligence and data, new product development, alternative drinks and regulatory change. The programme is aimed at specialists from every part of the industry, from brewing to wine and soft drink production.

Focus Corner, interactive workshops. The Focus Corner in Hall 9 offers a different format from the classic lecture. In 90-minute workshops, a maximum of 30 participants work through specific topics together with experts. The emphasis is on practical work, conversation and shared experience. Participation is free, but prior registration is required.

Pilot Area, see what is already possible. The Pilot Area in Hall 9 presents concrete pilot projects from the industry. The aim is to show which new technologies and concepts can already be applied in practice, from the use of by-products to new solutions for renewable process energy and rapid microbiological testing.

Discovery Bar, discover new drinks. The Discovery Bar in Hall 6 brings more than 50 beverage concepts for visitors to explore and taste. The line-up includes functional and fermented drinks, non-alcoholic alternatives, RTD products and other new concepts that show how varied the beverage market has become.

Startup Zone, meet the industry’s new players. In the Startup Zone in Hall 7 visitors can meet new companies and start-ups entering the beverage industry. BrauBeviale thus connects established producers and suppliers with new ideas and business concepts.

Aftershow Party. The fair also includes an Aftershow party on Tuesday evening, this year at a new venue and with a new concept.

BrauBeviale, the entire process chain of the beverage industry

One of the fair’s key advantages is precisely its breadth. BrauBeviale connects different participants along the whole chain, from suppliers of raw materials and technology to beverage producers, OEM partners and the wholesale and retail trade. Producers can find solutions for optimising and further developing existing technologies, while exhibitors have the chance to connect with target groups from the beer and brewing sector, soft drinks, wine and sparkling wine, and spirits.

Holding the fair annually allows it to focus on current topics that affect the industry and demand concrete solutions. The exception is 2028, when drinktec takes place, so BrauBeviale will pause.

Three days for new solutions, knowledge and inspiration

The beverage industry is changing, and BrauBeviale 2026 aims to show what those changes mean in practice for producers and suppliers. Under the slogan “All Beverages. One Future.” and the overarching theme “Time for Opportunities”, the fair brings solutions along the entire process chain, expert talks, interactive workshops, pilot projects, new beverage concepts and a space for industry professionals to connect.
