The best wine of the 35th Sabatina comes from the Danube Basin, the growers’ and winemakers’ meeting organised by the Cooperative Union of Dalmatia

The Chardonnay Principovac 2019 from Ilocki Podrumi is the best wine of the 35th Sabatina and the champion of dry and off-dry whites. The champion of dry and off-dry reds is the Merlot Skaulj 2017 from the Skaulj family winery in Nadin. On Saturday evening, the last of this year’s Sabatina in Bol on Brac, awards were also given to the best wines made from the Dalmatian varieties Plavac, Posip and Grk. The award ceremony for the best Croatian wines at the 35th Sabatina in Bol on Brac.

These are the Plavac Vrankovic 2023 from the Berti Vrankovic family estate in Sveta Nedjelja on Hvar, the Posip Selekcija 2024 from Pavicic Vina in Vrbanj on Hvar, and the Grk Bartul 2024 from the Zure winery in Lumbarda on Korcula. The champion for product presentation is the Navis Mysterium 2020 from the Edivo company in Janjina on Peljesac, while the grand gold medal for product quality went to the Plavac South Edition 2022 from Pavicic Vina in Vrbanj.
