Miraz Syrah 2019 is our best red at the Mundus Vini judging! Enosophia wins two more golds

Three gold and three silver medals were won by the wines of Enosophia at the prestigious German judging Mundus Vini Grand International Wine Award 2026. Draped in gold, the structured and characterful Miraz Syrah 2019 was also named the best red wine from Croatia, earning the title Best in Show Croatia Red. The golden Miraz Chardonnay 2024 – limited edition spent 11 months in Slavonian oak. It is an elegant wine in which power and finesse meet, and gold was also brought home to Fericanci by Memoria, a sparkling wine made from Rajnski Rizling (Rhine Riesling) by the classic method of bottle fermentation. Five years of ageing on the lees gave it complexity, texture and seriousness.Enosophia's wines won gold and silver medals at the international Mundus Vini 2026 judging.

The gold medals, confirming a top world ranking, were won by three markedly different yet equally ambitious and outstanding wines. Miraz Syrah is a reflection of our climate, of the care taken in the vineyard and the cellar. Miraz Chardonnay is a perfectly balanced wine in which fruit interweaves with the discreet influence of oak, while Memoria shows how important time is for sparkling wines. Five years on the lees is a decision that demands patience and persistence, and the gold is proof that we succeeded in it, emphasised Enosophia’s oenologist Matija Vasilj, adding that the awards are not the result of a single vintage but of systematic work and the clear vision of the entire team. Silver went to three fresh wines from the 2025 vintage: Nobelman Sauvignon Blanc, Trs No. 5 and Graševina Dika (Graševina is Slavonia’s flagship white), further confirming the breadth and quality of the Enosophia brand.Enosophia's Miraz Syrah 2019 was named the best Croatian red at Mundus Vini.

From a business standpoint, six medals from one of the world’s most influential wine competitions, and across every wine category, further strengthen the brand’s positioning in the premium segment and reinforce Slavonia’s reputation as a serious wine region. We are especially pleased that the awarded wines span different styles and categories: red, white and sparkling. That confirms the breadth and the high quality of our production, stressed Marija Piper, sales and marketing director of the Enosophia winery. The first opportunity to taste the awarded wines will come at the renowned ProWein wine fair, held from 14 to 18 March in Dusseldorf.Enosophia's award-winning wines represent the top quality of Slavonian red, white and sparkling wines.
