Laguna Rose 2024 takes gold at the CMB Rose Wines session in Constanta

Carmenere (40 percent), Cabernet Franc (30), Merlot (20) and Cabernet Sauvignon are the varieties from which Vina Laguna crafted their Rose 2024, taking a gold medal at the just-concluded Rose Wines Session 2025 of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.Vina Laguna's Rose 2024 won a gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles Rose Wines Session 2025.

The competition was held in Constanta, Romania, where 58 judges from every corner of the world chose the best rosés among 1,250 samples from 34 countries. Silver medals went to the Crose Rose 2024 from the Siber winery in Erdut, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, and to the Istrian Fakin Rose 2024 made from Teran (a robust Istrian red), which had taken gold the previous year. France won 124 medals, most of them for wines from Provence, followed by Italy, Spain, Romania and Portugal. The Czech Republic sprang a surprise, taking a Grand Gold Medal with its Bohemia Sekt Prestige Rose Brut 22160 E sparkling wine made from Crni Pinot (Pinot Noir, 51 percent) and Frankovka.
