The best young white wine of the jubilee 35th Sabatina was the Posip 2025 from Vinarija Jokic in the village of Lisane Tinjske near Benkovac. The Susac cellar from Blatnica near Citluk in Bosnia and Herzegovina took the award for its Blatina 2025 as the best young red wine. The best open wine in white was the Posip Smokvica 2024 by Cvijeta Stjepovic from Dubrovnik, while the best open red was the Cuvee 2023 (cabernet sauvignon, syrah and merlot) by Tomislav Grbic from Privlaka. Here “open” wines are those still assessed from tank or barrel ahead of bottling, as opposed to finished bottlings. Congratulations to the winemakers on their awards.
